Computerworld Selects Outlook Technologies as One of the Top "100 Emerging Companies to Watch in 2001"

Chicago, IL. - November 22, 2000 - Outlook Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of back office infrastructure for Web sites, today announced that Computerworld has selected it as one of its "100 Emerging Companies to Watch in 2001." Outlook was one of six companies honored in the Application development tools category.

"We are honored to be named to Computerworld's Emerging Companies 2001 list," said Outlook's CEO, President and Cofounder, Lou Manousos. "This recognition of the importance of back office infrastructure - and Outlook's leadership in this market - emphasizes the benefits of the next generation of web solutions - high ROI, scalability and operational efficiency coupled with quick time to market".

To qualify for the list, companies had to be corporate-focused, for-profit ventures with revenue of less than $250 million and founded no earlier than 1995. Additionally, the candidates were required to have an innovative product or service available, customer references and a management team in place. A panel of influential information industry leaders then chose the Top 100 companies. The article, ranking methodology and panelist names are available in Computerworld's "Emerging Companies to Watch in 2001" supplement as well as the complete list of emerging companies (in PDF format).

As companies rely increasingly on their Web sites as the primary form for communication, Outlook is committed to providing the tools and services necessary to create and manage the high-quality back office infrastructure for Web sites. Outlook's customer list includes Fortune 1000 firms, emerging Internet-based and e-commerce companies, and traditional companies expanding online.
